Along with all the incredible items we have up for bid at the auction (this Saturday in case you forgot), we also have a party section.
Now what’s a party section at a party? Well its a table that has parties that were put together by the parents at SMPCW. Space is very limited so I’m tell you how it works:

Tide Pooling with Patty Malone – Go tidepooling with naturalist Patty Malone at Coal Oil Point.
Bowling at Zodos – 1 hour of bowling at Zodos with Pizza and drinks.
Happy Hour and Bocce Ball Party – Happy Hour and Bocce Ball at the Rose Garden (Adults Only)
Fancy Tea Party - Spend an afternoon having tea and fun at the Fancy Tea Party, ‘tea’ and treats included
Childrens Pizza Tour & Party – Work up an appetite touring California Pizza Kitchen, then create your own pizza.
Harbor Party for Kids - Tour the Santa Barbara Harbor and picnic off the breakwater.
Hike to Lizards Mouth – Hiking, snacks and enjoy the view at Lizards Mouth.
Spirals Gymnastics Party – Tumble and jump at a Spirals gymnastics party
Kalyra Wine Tasting – Wine tasty and apps at the beautiful Kalyra Winery (Adults Only)
Summer Gardening Party – Learn to cultivate a vegetable garden with a California Certified Nursery Professional at SMPCW. Sample different snacks that you can grow at home.

Funny thing though, they put down the wrong date! The auction is actually March the 13th, NOT the 14th!
Dearest Dedicated Auction Blog Readers,
We must apologize for not keeping up with the A, B to Z game. We have gotten so many amazing donations this past week from extremely generous business that we at the auction blog have completely fallen behind! For shame!
I can say though, that the links on the right hand side are all updated. Just look at that list! Its huge! I’m sure there are businesses on there that has a product or service you are just dying to bid on. So check out our links and I promise that we’ll catch up with the game very soon!
This is something that we stress to our children at SMPCW. We compost our food scraps, use cloth napkins, reusable bowls, utensils and cups at snack time and recycle paper goods as much as we can.
Our desire to reduce our carbon footprint doesn’t stop at the school. All of our paper goods for the auction are from World Centric. A California based company who’s mission is to …reduce economic injustice and environmental degradation through education, community networks, and sustainable enterprises. From their website:
World Centric provides high quality compostable food service disposables and food packaging products for use in schools, corporate cafeterias, restaurants, hospitals, parties etc. Our products are made annually renewable resources like corn, sugarcane, and wheat straw fiber. Sugar cane and wheat straw fiber are also discarded by-products of the agriculture industry and we are using this discarded fiber to make sustainable alternatives to plastics and styrofoam.
With that in mind, we are urging all of our guests at Imaginarium to be conscious of their use of our paper products, cans and bottles. We will have clearly labeled recycling containers throughout the venue to make your opportunities to recycle at our event easy! You will be amazed how a little bit of recycling goes a long way!
Lets leave this earth in good condition for our children, and grandchildren!

Isla Vista Co-op has always been a gracious sponsor of The San Marcos Parent Child Workshop. Again they are donating a enormous basket of goodies as well as providing some of the organic ingredients for our hors d’oeuvres. We love the IV Co-op!
